- Ron Paul is not completely against birth control. As a doctor he stated that the pills are not bad but it's the fault of the people who miss-use the pills. When I say miss-use the pills, I mean that some women use the Morning After pill as a primary form of contraception. That isn't really good for the body. The cyclic pills are much better. They keep the cycles regular, which is important for women (uterine build-up is no bueno, trust me). Anyway, Ron Paul really surprised me with that. I would have thought that he would have done the conservative thing and be completely against it. Some of his policies are completely backward, but this one isn't. It was refreshing to hear him caring about women. I do not feel that way when Santorum speaks. He's a Catholic, so he doesn't believe in birth control. He seems to be pushing those beliefs onto the people. I don't know about you, but I don't really care for a MAN telling me, a WOMAN, about WOMEN'S health when that man is not a doctor.
- When Santorum was speaking on the birth control issue, my kitty, Lilo (a female), was getting agitated while listening to it. Yes, my fiance (who Minors in Political Science) and I are getting our cat hooked on it. She would hear him speak and slap her tail down on the bed. Animals are very good judges of character, people! Think about it.
- Mitt Romney stated that he thinks that government programs like Social Security and Medicare should be done on a state level. I have to agree with that. It's a bit too difficult for the government to control programs like that when they don't know what's going on in the states. The state's law makers know more about their state and would be able to provide services based on the needs of the people in that state. This is a much better alternative to some candidates wanting to get rid of those programs all together. This is a great compromise, but that doesn't mean I want Romney to win the Election either.

What? No love for Gingrich? I mean, here's a man that was AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME and then it went kaplat...today, he was speaking about Washington's legalization of gay marriage :-D :-D :-D and the rest of the article talked about Sanitorium that thinks it (gay marriage) will lead to "a deterioration" of heterosexual marriage O.o and of course its against "The Bible." Not sure what Bible HE is reading but if you look at Leviticus as a WHOLE it speaks of killing children disobedient to their parents (which I'm sure some parents have THOUGHT of but never do) and that eating shellfish is "an abomination". Why do THOSE articles get disgarded but men on men can't? O.o
